Woven and Care Label Placement

They say it’s all about location, location, location and that theory holds true when deciding where to put your woven label, printed label or tagless transfer on your product. It’s certainly most common to have them sewn or ironed to the inside neck of a shirt. However, think outside the box. Bottom hems or shirt sleeve hems are a great place to put a woven label or to iron on a heat transfer. Then the label becomes a part of the overall look and design of the shirt. The care/content label can be sewn into the side seam or on the inside of the bottom hem. It’s out of the way and not against the wearers skin. The last thing you want is for your customer to tear out your brand after you’ve spent time and money on creating the perfect look. Consider wisely. Design a creative look and make it part of the overall appeal of your item.
